Man Trip 2005:
Birds Have Feelings Too
The boys and girls at PETA get a little misguided sometimes, don't you
think? Apparently, I'm a sick person because killing a bird with a burst of
projectiles or ringing their necks off is cruel and evil.
Don't get me wrong, I don't personally like the idea of someone ringing
my skinny neck or aiming a shotgun at my rear, but I'm pretty sure I don't
taste as good as deep-fried quail bird with an order of jalapeņo
hushpuppies on the side.
Also, why are we the only evil species. I don't see any hungry brown
bears flinching if a pair of healthy campers come strolling along. So why
haven't I seen PETA protesting outside any bear caves lately. Heck, they're
omnivores, they can survive on berries and soy supplement. And don't give me
anything about intelligence or freewill, I've seen some people walking
around that should never have been let out of the cave in the first place.
Who's ready to shoot some birds? Choate - Out.
